By 2001, it had been four years since dada had released any new music. For those jonesing for some new dada, they got a pleasant surprise when two members of dada, Michael Gurley and Phil Leavitt formed the band 'Butterfly Jones' and released the disc, 'Napalm Springs.' As usual, Michael Gurley has plenty to say, and he does so with class and intelligence.
