Down The Road There's A Hero - Dean Mitchell with Bucky Barrett - Video
PUBLISHED:  Mar 29, 2010
DESCRIPTION:
This music video came about quite a few years ago, during a rage of flag burning, when country music artist Dean Mitchell became inspired to write a song about a wounded WWII veteran. The veteran lived down the road from Dean and Dean often saw the veteran proudly flying the flag in his yard.

The silky smooth guitar is provided by none other than Bucky Barrett. Bucky may be best known as Roy Orbison's guitar player, but he has also played on over 1,500 albums and composed/performed music for feature films & television programs.

Dean has recorded a tribute album to Jimmie Rodgers entitled "Take A Train." It is available at CD Baby: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/dmitchell

For more of that silky smooth guitar playing (with a Spanish flair), check out Bucky Barrett's, Long Time Coming. Available at iTunes: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/long-time-coming/id47238575

Be sure to visit Bucky's My Space page! It is jam packed with interesting photos of his career, historical information, and positive inspiration that just makes you feel good browsing through it! :
