Singer/songwriter Buck Johnson hails from Shady Grove, Alabama which is just outside of Birmingham. During his childhood he toured with his family singing Gospel music throughout the South. He was raise on the music of the South (Gospel, Country, Bluegrass, Blues, and Southern Rock) and influenced primarily from his musical family.
After moving to Los Angeles, Buck soon began to perform and record as a vocalist/keyboardist with the following artists:



THE DOOBIE BROTHERS (backing vocals on "Rockin' Down the Highway"-Live CD-1996),
TAL BACHMAN (backing vocals and Keys of Columbia Records debut album -'99),
TIMOTHY B. SCHMIT (of The Eagles, his solo CD 2000-backing vocals and keys),
MATTHEW SWEET (touring keys and backing vocals and "Best Of Matthew Sweet CD-2000),
SHAWN MULLINS (touring -2000),
JOHN WAITE (2001 tour with Journey and Peter Frampton),
THE THORNS (2003 tour with The Jayhawks, The Dixie Chicks, John Mayer)
Buck has also had the privilege to perform keys and vocals with such notable artists as Edgar Winter, Sam Moore, Tommy Shaw and many others in "Volunteers for America" benefit for 911.
As a songwriter Buck co-wrote the international hit single "Just Feel Better" for Carlos Santana's album "All That I Am" featuring Steven Tyler of Aerosmith on vocals.
In 2006, Buck moved back to the South to Nashville, TN where he joined the Country-Rock band called Whiskey Falls which released it's self titled debut album in 2007 featuring the Country top 40 hit single "Last Train Running".
Currently Buck is enjoying living in Nashville with his wife Kym writing, recording and playing gigs. He is working on his debut solo album with producers Mark Needham (Chis Isaak, Fleetwood Mac, The Killers) and Charlie Midnight (Joe Cocker, The Doobie Bros., Hillary Duff).
