Bruno Müller's debut album „Inner Back Home“ can easily compete with those fantastic jazz/soul albums from the late 70ies and early 80ies recorded in California. His warm and funky sound comes to live in brillant standards like „Someday We’ll All Be Free“ (Donny Hathaway) or „Butterfly“ (Herbie Hancock) but also the lead track of the album „Joe’s Tune“. It was originally written for Joe Sample, who had already agreed to be part of the recoding session of „Inner Back Home“ but then sadly passed away. So Bruno decided to record this song in memory of this outstanding musician.
Guests : Till Brönner, Max Mutzke, Jeff Cascaro, Joo Kraus and Frank McComb
