Ransom Notes 1.m4v - Video
PUBLISHED:  Dec 06, 2011
DESCRIPTION:
Bruce Piephoff wrote "Ransom Notes" in 2008, after the tragic death of his friend, Billy Ransom Hobbs. The poem first appeared in his book "Fiddlers and Middlers". Scott Sawyer knew Billy, too; having met him circa 1974 in Greensboro, NC. They played music together and traveled a bit, too. This version of "Ransom Notes" appears on Piephoff's album "Still Looking Up at the Stars" (released in 2011). Scott Sawyer produced the album and performed on 17 tracks. He performed all guitars, conceived of, edited and arranged the music on "Ransom Notes". The album is available here: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/brucepiephoff3
