Strangely enough, at least three of our songs have come true after I wrote them. A few weeks after I wrote "Toast to the Coast" I ended up spending the night in a sea cave in Dana Point and setting a bonfire and the smoke filled up the cave all night. I was coughing up blood for two weeks...next time I'll do the fire outside. This is us jamming on that song in Brad's barn. This is where we get to practice each week. Not a bad setup!

The part about the little expat bar was inspired by a place in Flamingo Bay, Costa Rica where crusty expat surfers and salsa dancing locals party until the power goes off and then light a massive bonfire on the sand.
