DESCRIPTION:
Congressman Bishop joins Brookhaven Town Supervisor Mark Lesko, NY State Assemblyman Dean Murray, Suffolk County Legislator Rob Calarco, and Brookhaven Councilman Tim Mazzei at the demolition of the derelict auto dealership in East Patchogue. The area will become a passive park where residents can enjoy the Swan River. Congressman Bishop secured nearly $1 million in Federal infrastructure funding to help restore the property to its natural state and stabilize, re-grade and re-vegetate wetlands.
