Hugh Sheehan - Electronics + Accordion
Greg Sterland - Tenor Saxophone

w/ special guest Brigitte Beraha - Vocals

Lore formed from myself and Greg’s love of folk/jazz music and electronic music and the desire to combine the two in a organic and personal way. We use technology to create, enhance and combine sonorities whilst harmonically integrating our roots as folk/jazz musicians.

Our music explores new compositional concepts, processing techniques and unique sound palettes and project is as much about live performance as it is studio compositions. The music is improvisatory (including the electronics - home made instruments, mechanical drum machines and extensive feedback chains and circuit bent processing paths), however the skeletal forms of the compositions are heavily influenced by our groundings in folk and jazz music and love for electronic music, as well as being informed by our education in contemporary music.

The Project was debuted as part of Atmosphere Festival 2015 in Cardiff, with guest vocalist Brigitte Beraha, to a sell out audience. Enclosed are some clips from the performance.

The second clip features an arrangement of a composition by Carolyn Goodwin, entitled 'Strange Familiar'.

Many thanks to Sam Barnes for engineering the gig, and to Holly Heathcote for sticking the camera up at the last minute!
