Reason Amps Grande - Fender Strat 2nd Position Bright Channel - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jan 22, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
The Grande was designed for Bambino lovers who simply wanted more. Based on Reasons flag ship SM25 amplifier, the Grande features independent Normal and Bright channels, as well as StackMode- Reasons proprietary circuit which arranges the two independent channels in series for a third voice with incredible tonal and textural possibilities.

The Normal Channel (Volume, Tone, pull "Thick") with its minimalist design, has a sweet mid range focus and lower gain clarity that only a short signal path can deliver. The "Thick" pull increases grind at lower volume settings and is great for fattening up a single coil guitar.

The Bright Channel was designed to give you the benefit of a full TMB tone stack with just Volume, Treble and Bass controls. When the Bass control is maxed, a mid "scoop" occurs, characteristic of classic American amps. Pulling the Bright Switch brings in that sweet familiar, sparkle. As you roll the Bass off of 10, the middle frequencies begin to emerge, before finally rolling off Bass.

StackMode puts the Normal and Bright Channels in series. The obvious benefit is the extra available gain, but StackMode goes beyond that. By using the Normal and Bright controls, you have in StackMode a third super channel that allows you to tailor your tone, gain character, feel, and even pick attack in ways that only a Reason Amplifier can. StackMode has an inherently British sound, rounding out a great amp with a wide range of voices.

Extra features, unique to the Grande include Reverb, an effects loop with Series/Parallel switch and a "Pull" switch on the Stack Volume control that engages/disengages a global Master Volume. The Headphone/Line Out feature set of the Bambino has been replaced on the Grande with an effects loop.
