Brian Harnetty is an Ohio based composer whose works are often concerned with the environmental impacts of the fossil fuel extraction industries in the midwest and Appalachia. This piece was performed at the University of New Mexico ARTS Lab on April 29, 2017 led by flutist Elizabeth McNutt with members of the Death Convention Singers and the Albuquerque, NM community as part of a program of music to accompany "Imagining Sound", an exhibition of 2- and 3D works of visual art by interdisciplinary artist Alyce Santoro.
