Chatton's 40-year musical legacy was born in the 1960's at the famous Liverpool Cavern Club. From there, his career exploded playing keyboards for Phil Collins, B.B.King, Meatloaf, Jon Anderson,Tony Kaye, Chris Squire, Alan White (YES), Keith Emerson (ELP), The Hollies, Eric Burdon (Animals & War), Pat Travers, and John Miles (Tina Turner) amongst others. Brian became Jimi Hendrix's buddy at the world famous Speakeasy club in London where Jimi ultimately requested Brian's help writing music.

Brian's most recent concert, was with BB King on the Tonight Show,
After spending an evening with Paul and Linda McCartney, Brian was asked to meet Paul again at Abbey Road Studios to join his band, Wings, but a timing conflict prevented Brian from being a part of the group.

Tommy Matola personally managed Brian while Clive Davis represented his record company.
Brian shared a home with rock keyboards wizard Keith Emerson in West Kensington in London for 14 years. Two more of Brian's living keyboard heros are Herbie Hancock and Ramsey Lewis. He had occasion to spend time with both of them. During an interview on Chicago radio station WNUA, Brian received a personal invitation from Ramsey to guest on his radio show as well. At the China Club in LA, Herbie Hancock invited Brian to sit in with his band.
Brian produced his own song, "Take My Love and Run" with The Hollies in the Beatles personal studio at Abbey Road. Check out the video on this site of The Hollies performing the song with Brian.
In the 1980's while with the band, Boys Don't Cry, Brian co-wrote the Top Ten Worldwide hit, "I Wanna Be A Cowboy" which earned him a Gold Record. That was the highest accolade in those days before Platinum records came along. Brian's other Gold Record was for the album "Rock Follies" which was released after the TV series and remained at Number 1 in England for 3 months.
He also received two awards while touring with Meatloaf. One for the highest-grossing concert at Hammersmith Odeon, then a second while promoting the "Bad Attitude" album for highest record sales.
Chatton also co-wrote the title track for Sheena Easton's album "Madness, Money and Music", a film theme song entitled "For Those Who Win" with Keith Emerson, two songs with Eric Burdon for the film "Hu Man" (starring Terence Stamp), and a song for Nina Simone ("22nd Century Boy") which was also included on her greatest hits album.
While with the John Miles band, he had the distinction of being produced by Alan Parsons.
Brian acted as vocal coach for N*SYNC which helped them to sign a very lucrative record deal.
Brian currently jams in LA with Albert Lee, Kevin Eubanks,Don Peake, Elliot Eastman, Laurence Juber plus many other musician's musicians.

John Miles in my mind the most underrated singer/song writer in the world. Plays with Tina Turner, and Jimmy Page. I used to laugh so hard, I almost bought everybody a drink -- -- ALMOST !!
John Miles (Tina Turner, Joe Cocker, Jimmy Page)
Brian is a wonderfully insane musician who I had the pleasure to work and party with.
I spent some of the funniest times of my life with him. Remarkable player, remarkable sense of humour, remarkable chap.
Just remembering a fancy dress party at Brians house, I went as Rigsby from Rising Damp, he was dressed as Luke Skywalker(flash twat).
I miss our trips to Blackpool on chuff-chuff, what was the name of that donkey?
John Miles xx

Paul Gurvitz ( Sir George Martin, Baker Gurvitz, Jermain Jackson, Jermaine Stewart, )
(Well the first thing that comes into my mind when I hear the name Brian Chatton is funny guy. Good looking bugger with a strange accent, Brian has probably played with more famous people than the Queen of England has had korgis and why ? because he is a great player. When I played with Ginger Baker in the Baker Gurvitz Army I asked Brian to come and play on some of the tracks on the Hearts On Fire album, not sure if he got paid but never the less what he played was fucking great, and not only that, he has got 2 of the most talented and beautiful daughters you have ever seen.
good luck brian
