Brain Murder es una banda formada a finales de 2002. Consta de cinco integrantes. El estilo de su música es Thrash-Death Metal melódico con influencias de grindcore, y de nu-metal. La combinación que logran va desde lo melancólico a lo brutal.
LO QUE SE PLASMA EN LAS LETRAS DE LAS CANCIONES NO ES MÁS QUE LA PERSPECTIVA CRUDA Y REALISTA QUE, AL IGUAL QUE MUCHÍSIMAS OTRAS PERSONAS, TENEMOS DE ESTE MUNDO Y SUS DERIVACIONES HUMANAS. EXPRESAMOS NUESTRAS IDEAS CONFORME A LOS PRODUCTOS RESULTANTES DE LA PRESENCIA DEL SER HUMANO EN EL UNIVERSO Y LOS PROBLEMAS QUE ESTO CONLLEVA. HABLO DE LA INHERENTE COMPLEJIDAD QUE RESULTA EL FALLIDO INTENTO DE ESTRUCTURAR MILES DE MILLONES DE MENTES Y MILES DE MILLONES DE ACCIONES EN UN ESPACIO TAN PEQUEÑO COMO LO ES ESTE PLANETA, SATURÁNDOLO DE MINI-UNIVERSOS COLISIONANDO CONSTANTEMENTE ENTRE SÍ, PROVOCANDO UNA EVOLUCIÓN CAÓTICA Y DESORDENADA, DONDE CADA VEZ EXISTE MENOS CABIDA A LA SANA EXPRESIÓN DE LAS PASIONES HUMANAS, DONDE LOS SENTIMIENTOS YA NO CONDICIONAN MÁS QUE NUESTRO DECADENTE FRENESÍ, DONDE EL HUMANO CADA VEZ DEJA DE SER MENOS HUMANO PARA VOLVERSE EN EL NOSTÁLGICO SUSPIRO DE LA ESPERANZA DE UNA UTOPÍA ROTA, IMPOSIBLE. UNA UTOPÍA DONDE NI SIQUIERA EL AMOR MÁS SINCERO Y ENTREGADO O LA RAZÓN MÁS AJUSTABLE Y FLEXIBLE PUEDEN CONTRA EL CÍRCULO VICIOSO QUE HEMOS CREADO DE NOSOTROS MISMOS, QUE SIN DUDA ALGUNA (AUNQUE ALIVIANTE Y BENÉFICO PARA EL UNIVERSO), SE MUESTRA COMO NUESTRO PRONTO E INEVITABLE FINAL.
Brain Murder comenzó tocando varios covers de Slipknot, Coal Chamber, Brujería y Korn y empezaron a componer canciones en el género del Nu-metal, pero conforme se fueron desarrollando, empezaron a componer música en un género diferente y un poco más complicado; su estilo cambió al del Death Metal sueco (influencias de At the Gates, Soilwork, etc.) con elementos de grindcore y de nu-metal (con influencias de Decapitated, Cannibal Corpse, etc.) . A principios de 2004 presentaron su primer CD demo que se llamó “The Gods of the Black Forest”, que en Pachuca y después en Hidalgo, tuvo una gran aceptación en el ámbito del metal en esa entidad. Se han vendido aproximadamente 500 copias principalmente en Hidalgo. A finales del mismo año presentaron su segundo CD demo titulado “Blinded By Confusion”, del que hasta ahora se han vendido aproximadamente entre 300 y 400 copias en Hidalgo. Ahora están trabajando en lo que será su primer LP, mezclado y producido por ellos mismos.
Brain Murder ha tocado en varios conciertos y festivales principalmente de Metal, y ha compartido el escenario con algunas de las bandas de metal más conocidas de México, como Pulverized, Lust, Semen, Hacavitz, Agnus Dei, Kadath, Muluc-Pax, Aiwass, The Hellracer, Soulless Domain, Baal, Hymen of Darkness, Axon, Septicem, Raped God, Ignis Atrium, Fractalia, etc.

Brain Murder Bio
Death melodic metal band with some grindcore and nu-metal influences. They have a splendid combination of brutal and melodic riffs. Lyrics that go from tearing children’s minds to a reflection of the Mexican culture these days.
Formed in 2003, the band started playing Slipknot, Coal chamber, Korn and Brujeria's covers. They also made some nu-metal songs. But as they developed their technique, they surpassed those bands and started making more technical and brutal music in the style of Swedish death melodic metal (At the Gates, Soilwork, etc.). In early 2004, they released their first demo CD called “The Gods of the Black Forest”, which had and still has been well accepted among fans. They have sold, to date, nearly 600 copies of that debut demo CD. At the end of 2004, they released their second demo CD called “Blinded by Confusion”, that, by the time has sold 500 copies only in the central region of Mexico.
They have been in many heavy metal concerts and festivals, sharing stage with the best Mexican metal bands, such as Pulverized, Lust, Semen, Hacavitz (ex-Disgorge members), Kadath, Muluc-pax, Aiwass, The Hellracer, Hymen of Darkness, Axon, Fractalia and many more. Also, some metalzines in Mexico, like Thanatopia, have made reviews on the band’s CDs and on the band's performance.
