The Ataris-The Boys of Summer-Johnkew Drum Cover - Video
PUBLISHED:  Dec 07, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
I always loved this song - both Don Henley's original and this remake by The Ataris. After jamming with this one for a few times, I started getting ideas for new fills and the pieces just sort of fell into place. I had an absolute blast playing it. I think this is one of my favorite remakes that I've done.

Most of the changes I made were from 2:50 to the end. I made a tutorial for the fill starting at 3:25, and the others were mostly improvised, which include some double stroke fills, the fill at 3:57 which I borrowed from Luke Holland, and the five-stroke fill at 4:07.

Thanks so much for watching, and thanks in advance for your feedback - it's always appreciated.
