Note: A new version of this video is now available (link coming). It has clearer audio of Adam in it and some alterations to the visuals.
A mash up of videos of a young Bowie with amatuer vids of Adam Lambert from the American Idol tour. Adam performed a medley of Bowie songs so I took one of the songs - Fame - and gathered some vids together from various venues. I put them together with an mp3 of Bowie's original 1975 recording of Fame and made a video of the two of them performing together. I hope you enjoy it.
We can all dream. Mine is the idea of a young Bowie singing a duet with Adam Lambert. (well it's one of them LOL). So I decided to make it a virtual reality. Let's hope that song-writing collaboration that Adam dreams of will happen in the not too distant future.
* David! Call Adam! *
PS Sorry about the audio of Adam not being always clear and a bit of the synching being slightly out. It was difficult with the audio quality of fan videos at a concert to get Adam's vocals heard without totally muting the mp3 track. I got it as good as possible given I was using MovieMaker - which is extremely limited and has a teensy problem with synching when it compresses clips. If I ever get a better editing programme I'll do this video over again.
This video is created purely for the purposes of promoting the artists involved and their music and encouraging discussion amongst the fans of Bowie and Lambert. I do not own the rights to the audio or video material contained in this video and no claim or breach of copyright is intended.

PS Due to the offensive nature of some posts I've seen at both Adam's and Bowie's Youtube videos I have opted to set up approval for comments unless you're a "friend". Sorry about that - but I promise to try and approve them as fast as possible. David and Adam both seem to be extremely positive and open-hearted guys and I hope the video reflects that. I didn't want that kind of negativity intruding on the spirit of this video.
