Sleepy Kitty: The A-Sides Interview - Video
PUBLISHED:  Oct 21, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
1990s alt-rock never went away, and it's not going to thanks to St. Louis garage pop duo Sleepy Kitty, who are keeping the "sound" alive in a cool, new way. The band actually started as a project for a class Paige Brubeck was taking but evolved into a full-fledge band with Evan Sult (ex-Harvey Danger) drummer. The two, by the way, were respectively playing in Stiletto Attack and Bound Stems at the time they joined forces. They've released two self-released EPs and have a full-length Infinity City on the way in 2014. The band has opened for Chuck Berry and Neon Trees, but not together. No one wants to see Chuck Berry play with that band. Anyway, the duo are awesome and filmed an A-Sides session (asidesmusic.com) at the Music Conservatory of Westchester in October 2013. Boom. Bam.
