DESCRIPTION:
Veteran keyboardist and arranger for Afrobeat progenitor Fela Kuti's 'Egypt 80' orchestra, Dele Sosimi has gone on to become one of the seminal torch-bearers for the genre.
Since moving to the UK some years ago, Sosimi has proven to be a vital agent for Afrobeat in Europe... constantly on tour and composing for orchestra's - his tracks are frequently cited by famed remixers as playing a vital role in keeping the genre relevant and moving-forward.
Filmed over a few days in April 2011 while on the Afrobeat Vibration UK tour, both in London and Birmingham.
