Now residing in Austin, Texas. The two-sided BoomBaptist/Thesaurus Rex has over a decade in the game and several LP's/features under his belt. Starting as a DJ at 12 years of age and quickly learning the art of beatmaking, he involved himself in every facet of hip-hop culture. Today, Thesaurus Rex is a producer, engineer, and recording artist. He has played over 60 shows and performed alongside and worked with such acts as: Dead Prez, Talib Kweli, Rakim, Method Man, Rahzel, Large Pro, Akrobatik, Guilty Simpson, Termanology, Devin the Dude, Blackalicious, Abstract Rude, Black Milk, Bumpy Knuckles, Mr. Lif, Icon the Mic King, Solillaquists of Sound, 2Mex, Illogic, Oddisee, Kev Brown, M-Phazes, illmind, and Muneshine. Austin is a new city for the young artist and he hopes to contribute greatly to the live music mecca.
