Three amazing keyboardists make up this Class of 88 (keys).

Jon Carroll began his career with the Grammy winning Starland (Afternoon Delight) Vocal Band in the mid-70’s, and has continued on an artistically versatile path as a sought after collaborator, performer, songwriter, composer and all around musician. His songs have been recorded by artists such as Linda Ronstadt and Tom Jones and he has performed with many of the greats including Mary Chapin Carpenter, Cheryl Wheeler, Rodney Crowell, John Jennings, John Gorka, John McCutcheon and more. Carroll has also composed and produced numerous award winning children’s animated features scores for Scholastic Inc, as well as penning and performing in new stage musicals. The recipient of multiple WAMMIES over the years, his home of homes will always be here in the DC area no matter where he lives or how far afield he travels. “Jon Carroll is a one man band, a poet, a songwriter, a singer of every kind of song and above all, a musician’s musician…and I can also attest to his being a not-to-be-missed performer.” ~ Mary Chapin Carpenter

Brian Simmsis the Baltimore-based keyboardist, vocalist, composer, arranger and leader of the critically acclaimed band, Junkyard Saints. He has recorded and toured with Rounder recording artist Disappear Fear, opening for and performing with Indigo Girls as well as with many of the DC area's most notable bands and musicians. Simms records prolifically; he has played on over 100 CDs and he can be heard on numerous radio and TV spots, including Discovery Channel, HGTV's Househunters and the Maryland Lottery.

Pianist, vocalist and songwriter Bill Starks performs with Azalea City Recordings’ artist, Ruthie & the Wranglers, the DC area's rocking American Roots band.
