DESCRIPTION:
Tom Van Treese, Kay Van Treese, Banjo Bob, and Clare Davis are Booger Holler, competing in the Old-Time String band Contest at the Annual Florida State Fiddlers Convention, October 2014.

The string band contest is a good-natured competition, which encourages pick-up bands to enter. The fee to enter is a pie, (preferably homemade). Once the results have been tallied, the pies are divvied out to the contestants in reverse order of how the bands placed in the contest. The last place band gets their pick of all pies, the second-to-last picks next, and on it goes until the first-place band gets whichever pie is left.
