From The Conductor's Perspective - Video
PUBLISHED:  May 10, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
You've been to concerts, but unless you're a music professional, chances are you've never experienced music from the conductor's perspective. Here's your chance.

Experience movement 4 of Vaughan Williams' Sea Symphony from the perspective of Brown University's Paul Phillips at a recent rehearsal of the Pioneer Valley Symphony Orchestra and Chorus (with the Hampshire Choral Society).

This is your chance to feel the music as Paul feels it - it's a wild, fascinating ride.

Viewer Advisory: There's a lot of motion in this video. If you're prone to motion sickness, you may want to move on.

Audiophile Advisory: This rehearsal was held in an acoustically active space. You have been warned.
