I think this design is the perfect thing for folks that like 00 sized guitars but want a bit more umpf to the sound. The deeper body balances out the smaller shape and having the neck join at the 13th fret just makes sense. This one has Brazilian rosewood for the back and sides and a nice stiff lutz spruce top. It's a real winner in every way. I love to play blues and rags. From Charlie Patton to Rev. Gary Davis this guitar eats it up. It's very strong and loud with clear and present Trebles that make melodies jump out. The short scale is easy to play and the 13 fret neck keeps the tone sweet while allowing good reach up high. The soundport makes it easy to enjoy the tone from behind.
