- POSITIVE ROOTS BAND - Right from the start, at the end of 1999, the five members of POSITIVE ROOTS BAND, have never stopped to perform with different singers. More than 500 concerts througout France and european countries, including several performances on festivals with famous jamaïcan artists as Buju Banton, Black Uhuru, The Skatalites, Israel Vibration.
For that reason, POSITIVE ROOTS BAND is acknowledged as to be a reference in France for their energy on stage. They have been played on main french Fm radio as France Inter or Skyrock, and they made also appearances on different TV Programs (Canal Jimmy, France Television).
The band is composed of musicians from France, West Indies and Senegal.
The experience singer from Saint-Marteen, Bob Wasa, brings "authenticity" by his presence and his charismatic voice.
This melting-pot gives a rich, melodic and dynamic music between roots, new roots and dub.
The lyrics, all written by Bob Wasa, talk about education, society, love and events of the world in simplicity on a positive way

Basé à Toulouse et créé fin 1999, le POSITIVE ROOTS BAND accompagné de leur chanteur BOB WASA (St Martin), se révèle sur scène avec plus de 600 concerts en 10 ans à travers la France, les Antilles et l'Europe.
Le POSITIVE, aux allures de melting pot distille une musique riche, mélodique et dynamique, 100 % "good vibes".Leur style alterne roots,new roots et dub. Les textes, en anglais, tous écrits par BOB WASA abordent des sujets variés, comme l'éducation, l'amour et la tolérance sur un ton empreint de gaieté et de simplicité.
Véritable combo scénique, c'est le live et la route qui ont propulsés le POSITIVE ROOTS BAND en groupe phare de la scène reggae roots française. Une référence en la matière .!!

2002 « Edition Spéciale » enregistré aux Studios Polygone à Toulouse et mixé par Gaylord Bravo (qui a collaboré entre autres avec Horace Andy et Israël Vibration).
2004 « Reggae feeling » avec BOB WASA. Tour à tour distribué par Next Music et Mosaïc, ce nouvel opus aux accents jamaïcains (chant profond en anglais et participation de Rod Taylor.) donne une dimension internationale au POSITIVE ROOTS BAND.
2008 « RAINBOW », feat. GREGORY ISAACS, BIG YOUTH, DAWEH CONGO, mixé de nouveau par Gaylord Bravo au studio LEGGO (Jamaïque).
