Biography
I am PATrick "Patson" RichardSON, a Kentucky native musician/artist who has played drums in many Bowling Green/Nashville bands including Vulvaluxe, Envy Estate, and Malengine.
In July 2008 after a nasty motocross injury where I broke my scapula (shoulder blade), the hardest bone in the body to break.. Couldn't play, so I stepped back and looked at my music from outside the usual box.. and i
t occurred to me to strap a stick and tape a pick to my hand and try to play guitar and drums together. To make all the rock happen my dang self. Like A Wildfire was the 1st song written in full and showed some interesting promise. The first show didn't happen until exactly 1 year into the project for fear some would think me crazy to even try it. Bowling Green was the 1st to see it, the response was over the top, and has been ever since. Reeling in props from many of my favorites including producer Ross Robinson, rockers Every Time I Die, and music legend Mike Watt.. even got named a Kentucky Colonel by the Kentucky State Governor just like Elvis.
Nashville is my favorite place to play, especially since a lot of my influence has come from there. From growing up going to Opryland to living in Music City as an adult and experiencing great bands like Spider Virus, Hank III and Th' Legendary Shack Shakers.
I continue to record, make videos, and play shows in the U.S. I hope to take my STAG sound abroad. To rock things far and wide. Booking info available upon request, here or at patson43@gmail.com
