Posted by http://www.nostalgoteket.se The Namelosers was the wildest swedish beat band in the '60s. At first they started as The Beatchers, the name was taken from The Beatles and The Searchers. In '64 they released first their EP which included New Orleans, Bama Lama Bama Loo, What'd I Say and Around and Around. Then they received a lawsuit-threat from a Gothenburg based The Beachers. A radio station held a 'Name the Band contest' for them. The winning entry was The Namelosers! They released 'New Orleans' again as The Namelosers on EMI. It reached #3 in the swedish chart!
