THE BLUEGRASS BROTHERS are a straightforward, hard driving, traditional band that hail from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. All of the members grew up listening to bluegrass music and learned to play through older family members who passed on their knowledge for generations. The band was formed ten years ago, though some of the members have changed. Three of the current members have been playing together for six years and all have been playing and competing since they were kids and have won numerous awards. In the past two years they have produced two CD's: "One More Try" and "Live From The Hills Of Virginia " and have recorded a CD for Hay Holler Records entitled "Memories Of The Blue Ridge". All of these CD's showcase their talent for traditional bluegrass as well as their own original songs. The Bluegrass Brothers display an entertaining dynamic. Their versatility in blending original and traditional material sets them apart from other bluegrass bands. So keep them on your minds for upcoming events and festivals ---------
