DESCRIPTION:
Since his ride to the top of the country charts over ten years ago, Wade Hayes has had a tough go of things. Less than a year ago, Wade received news that would not only change his life but potentially end it as he was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer last December. Hayes did what any songwriter would do and put pen to paper to express his thoughts in music. The result was a song called "Is It Already Time" about his ordeal.

Now just before ABC TV releases a new TV show called Nashville, about just how hard the music business can be on its stars, Wade's old Sony Music team - who helped launch his career in the mid-1990's - have reunited to produce, promote, publicize, market and sell his new music for a worthy cause - cancer research.

Wade talks about the song that started this revolution of kindness on Music Row.

Plans are in the works to record an entire album for release in 2013.
