With knowledge blinding me, has ignorance forsaken me?
On the contrary,
as the horizon draws near darkness swallows the sky,
and as my vision blurs,
the mirage almost dies.

I know this may not be what you'd expect
Falsely glorified cheats and fake poets.
But whos perspective are these judgements made with?

Your ability to trust is surreal as is your apprehension to love
why not question every fucking thing fed to us from the hands of a stranger
How can you differ their facts from fantasy?
Has the whole picture been painted so clearly?

They try to trade
your dreams in for their dismay
Appeased but at what cost?

Ive seen so many of you fall,
hoaxed until your desires inadvertently dissolved.
Moral obligations abstractly contrived,
made to think that you're free
(unknowingly on your knees)
bent to their will with ease

Betray your better judgement,
fight for your own cause.
Deny their subjugation,
cross the lines that they have drawn.

I will still try to establish a point of reception,
but not to fill with pity and indignation.
To be made mindful of a disguised consequence that
you continue to aimlessly chase.
