Kicking off 2011 with a song featured on the hit television show Sons Of Anarchy and a support slot on the road with Less Than Jake, followed up by an extremely successful European tour (including appearances at Groezrock Festival and support slots with NOFX and Dropkick Murphys), Blacklist Royals have no intention of slowing down what has already been a very hectic year.
The band is now gearing up for nearly two months on the 2011 Van's Warped Tour, where they'll be supporting the summer release of a split 7" with famed Boston punk rockers Street Dogs (along with their spot on this year's Warped Tour compilation).
Overcoming everything from member changes to terminal illness within the band, their die-hard spirit and DIY ethic has brought them to hundreds of stages and sweaty basements around the world and generated praise from cornerstones in the punk community like Maximum Rock And Roll and media giants like the LA Times.
Confirmed for the infamous Fest 10 over Halloween weekend, the band plans to enter the studio this fall to start working on their follow-up to last year's critically acclaimed release "Semper Liberi".
Formed nearly five years ago by twin brothers Nat and Rob Rufus, Blacklist Royals have proven themselves tried and true road-dogs. With countless miles behind them and the open road ahead, expect to see the guys out on the highways. driving fast, living hard, and playing their fucking hearts out.
