StudioFeed caught up with Matt Thibideau after his set at SIM's Friday night event to discuss Toronto's music scene and his own music which he performed alongside brother Mark Thibideau at Bizune.
After seeing the vast array of gear housed at their Toronto studio, it became clear to us how serious Matt and Mark are about their craft. Matt discusses the rise, downfall and subsequent rise of techno in Toronto, as well as his perspective on the Sound In Motion festival as a whole. Matt and Mark's elaborate hardware set up is also featured in some of the footage here; improvisation and live sequencing play a large part in their SIM set.
Additionally, Matt stopped by our radio studio earlier this year to perform a live set as a part of the Hushlamb Free Range Show (which can be listened to here); we were impressed with his live show to say the least.
