Bandicoot : Living Off The Radio - Video
PUBLISHED:  Oct 03, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
Bandicoot were mainly the duo of Mick Fettes, who had recently left Madder Lake, and Shane Bourne who later became known as a comedian and actor. The two knew each other from the Reefer Cabaret and teamed up to record and tour as Bandicoot, with the help of Dannie Bourne (keyboards and vocals), Ross Davis (guitar), Bruno Stanislo (bass, vocals) and Gary Young (drums, ex Daddy Cool).

They released the one self-titled album and this single from it, both in 1976 and released on the short-lived Rainbird label. The album had a very limited run, only a matter of hundreds as I recall, so who knows how many copies of the single there must be...?

There was an official video for this song but it seems to have been lost, though hopefully it may appear again one day. Same for their appearance as a duo on Countdown, performing the B-side Who Am I To Say.
