The background of the entire C-Level Movement starts in no other place than the home of the entire C-Level camp. Known to the locals as "Da Land". CLEVELAND(Ohio that is) is the home of the underground movement thats taking many by storm.

The brainchild of this Rap/True Story Indie Label is B.D Hailing from the Upper Eastside of Cleveland,Oh. Growing up, living in the section known as the Union Square area(or U-Block AKA UB), B.D. honed his rap skills as a young lyrical tyrant in of all places High School! "I used to bite niggas heads off in the study hall, lunchroom, classrooms, hallways, and on the bus goin home". He says, and I quote: "Talkin shit was something I always been good at. I'm the youngest of 5 kids. 2 Brothers, 2 Sisters. It was speak or be spoken for in my house"

In between "dressin fly for the breezies" in high school, and tryna figure out how to make money, B.D. used school as his stepping stone to success. For what you ask? One word: CLIENTELE. "I sold weed outta my locker" states B.D "I didnt have to flip bricks cuz my brothers already had shit locked. They thought I didnt know cuz I was a lil nigga, but I knew. So I got my money from 2 sources. Cds & weed. I'm not proud of it but a nigga had to eat. Plus it was a situation of supply & demand". At the time, B.D. had never been to a studio. He was what alot of people now refer to as a DJ but at that time he was called a bootlegger. "Naw I wasnt scratching on the 1's & 2's nigga. I had the hottest mixtapes of the newest industry shit. If you wanted the latest shit all you had to do was hit me on the horn" beams B.D. Then I started writing rhymes. President of C-Level Records Promotional department as well as the head of the GBA street team, Young Dre, once said: "I wouldnt classify him as a battle rapper. He can shit on most niggas but at the same time he can tell a story as vividly as anyone I have ever heard. He's versatile. We call it Street Scriptures. Its like every track is a mini-movie of the midwest".

"I try to get my point across to the listeners as clear as possible" states B.D "I'm precise and to the point. I let the streets to talk to me so I can communicate for them to the masses".

With the highly touted "GOOD GIRL" single on the verge of being released, The rebirth of G.Dot & B.D. with the "GBA(GUILTY BY ASSOCIATION) album coming", the street banger "hustlin & grindin coming", the hood banger "40 on da doorz featuring Young Ray already in the streets, or the heartfelt call to to all Cleveland artist to stick together title "Here N Da Land", B.D. is as versatile as they come.

B.D. says: "I'm able to speak to a greater amount of people because of what I'm rappin about is real life. These are the things that real people can relate to because they have done the same shit their entire lives. This is all I know." Stay tuned cuz the show is just gettin started folks!
