Started in the end of 2010, with (ex) members of 1000 Miles Ahead, Biarritz Boys, Damn Noisy Kids, The Marquees and Facing Down. After a lot of time searching for the right vocalist, The Assange hit the stage for the first time in December 2012. Now they're getting ready to tear down roofs everywhere....

This is not about the man, it is about the movement of revolutionary force he represents.

It's the idea of full transparency. Shining light on the processes so longed obscured by the darkness of governmental decision making, that's taking hostage the idea of true governance by and for the people, and creates a ruling elite with the power to bargain over our lives within the shades.

We stand for the fact that Knowledge is power. For the belief in an Open Society in which we all take responsibility for a better community. For the ideal that a rat can always be hunted down by Truth. For the struggle for Justice to be brought by transparency. The quest for Clearwater, only to be realized by swimming against the dirty stream.

Whether for better or worse, the consequences of the mechanism will be revolutionary in force, shining light on places so long obscured by them who benefit from keeping knowledge hidden and taking hostage our ability to think for ourselves. Breaking open the smoky clouds of backdoor policy-making and tearing down the strongholds of the intergovernmental trick 'n' trade called diplomacy, cleaning up mass-media that tends to profit from keeping as much information unknown as possible so they can choose what to feed us, instead of living up to their oath of exposing truth to the public.

It will irreversibly twist the traditional trivium of Government, Law and Journalese and molt into a different shape.

Live up to your oath of truth. All this, so that indeed one day, we can truly be our own government.
