About the Artists:
Kaviraj Singh:
Born into a musical family, Kaviraj has always been surrounded by music from a young age. This is reflected in his abilities to conjure moods specific to Raag music and dive deep into the rich heritage of music from the Indian sub continent. Kaviraj has been studying under the tutelage of Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty for vocal and Shri Harjinderpal Singh for Santoor, he has also been guided on his musical journey by his father Ustad Dharambir Singh MBE. Kaviraj has gained a reputation over the years for combining both his Santoor and Vocal elements to create a unique blend of the instrumental and vocal music of India.

Jasmeet Singh:
Jasmeet's love for music started at a very young age. Although his training began later on (due to a lack of teachers in his area), his interest in learning the Sikh religious music (Kirtan) triggered him to slowly pursue his passion. He began his musical journey at the age of twelve by learning both the Tabla and Jori from Ustad Avtarjit Singh Honey Ji, an impeccable Tabla Vadak of the Punjab Gharana (school of music). Currently, Jasmeet has been studying under none other than the legendary Ustad Sukhvinder Singh Pinky Ji of the Punjab and Benaras Gharanas. Jasmeet has toured extensively throughout North America and the United Kingdom and currently lives in Brampton, Ontario (Canada) where he also passes on his knowledge to his students.
