MeditActive is Francisco Oliveira. Born in the magical Azores islands, his interest in music came from a young age listening to trash metal and playing drums since he was 12. In 2008, he gives his first steps in production and creates the MeditActive project. With influences from both night time full-on and some more melodic sounds from the day-time psychedelic, the project's goal is to combine the best of both worlds, fusing heavy basslines and harsh effects that are designed to make your body move with more melodic and spacial psychedelic sounds made to free your spirit and your mind. Now with a defined style and improving in quality he started to play his live act this year and now releases his debut EP "Origins" on Woorpz Records. Origins is meant to be the beginning of a psychedelic journey, the introduction to a story that is going to be told taking us back to the origin when the psytrance scene was about spiritual freedom, union and true psychedelia.
