Beto

Jose Gonzales also known as Beto was born in NYC on Jan. 6th 1987 and was raised in the Dominican Republic, grew up listening to tropical rhythms such as Merengue, Bachata, and the early years or Reggaeton when it was only a new born genre. At the age of 5, Beto’s Family moved back to NYC where they felt he could get a better education. He attended and graduated from Walton H.S. in 2005 and decided to get a part time job before going to College where he met Fanta (GM Music). As Fanta and Beto’s friendship grew he started meeting the rest of the GM Music camp, Fanta’s duo Nitro and GM Music CEO DJ Al Money. Eventually Beto also met NYC’s well known producer RomY "El Arkitecto De Las Melodias". Now Beto, being surrounded by more people that share the passion for music, started writing songs and recording.



Currently Beto continues working with the GM Music family and performing his single "Chocala" which has been making a lot of noise in parties and clubs. Beto is another one of the few artists in the NYC area that promises to keep creating good music.
