Spanish Eyes - instrumental cover by Dave Monk - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jun 20, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
"Moon Over Naples" is a 1965 instrumental composed and originally performed by German bandleader Bert Kaempfert and was the first track on his album, The Magic Music of Far Away Places for Decca Records.
It would become a hit single in 1966 for Al Martino when lyrics were added by composer Eddie Snyder and songwriter Charles Singleton, and the title changed to "Spanish Eyes". As "Spanish Eyes", the song would go on to be performed by the likes of Elvis Presley, Engelbert Humperdinck, Willie Nelson & Julio Iglesias, Wayne Newton and Faith No More.
Here is my version of this easy listening piece. I have used a mixture of acoustic and electric guitar settings. I hope you like it. Dave

Blue spanish eyes
Teardrops are falling from your spanish eyes
Please, please don't cry
This is just adios and not goodbye
Soon I'll return
Bringing you all the love your heart can hold
Please say si si
Say you and your spanish eyes will wait for me
Blue spanish eyes
Prettiest eyes in all of Mexico
True spanish eyes
Please smile for me once more before I go
Soon I will return
Bringing you all the love your heart can hold
Please say si si
Say you and your spanish eyes will wait for me
Say you and your spanish eyes will wait for me
