con 'l mè bergé
che al son de la soa viòla
me farà dansè."

Ël bergé sentend lolì
l'é sautà fòra da ʼnt la baraca,
con la viòla an man
s'é bità a soné:
l'ha ciapà la bela bergera,
la farà dansé.

TRADUZIONE ITALIANO
All'ombra di una siepe
bella pastora è addormentata.
Passa da lì
un grazioso francese,
