DESCRIPTION:
Greg Abate and his quartet performed in HPL's Baby Grand Jazz series on Feburary 26, 2017.

Greg Abate: saxophone
Matt DeChamplain: piano
Lou Bocciarelli: bass
Ben Bilello: drums

Abate is a veteran jazz musician who plays saxophone and flute, composes and leads a band. He is a Rhode Islander who graduated from the Berklee College of Music, played lead alto sax in the Ray Charles Orchestra, and tenor sax in the Artie Shaw Orchestra conducted by Dick Johnson.
