Artist Biography: Having launched a technical, lightning speed attack on venues and festivals in the UK for the past 5 years, progressive thrash unit ALMEIDA are ready to tear it up in your town.

The band released their debut album 'Fantastic Massacre' on Lockjaw Records (UK) and Bells On Records (Japan) to critical acclaim, with comparisons to bands such as BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME, SIKTH, DRAGONFORCE and PROTEST THE HERO becoming frequent.

Almeida are also more than comfortable in a punk or hardcore setting, influenced by bands such as PROPAGANDHI and NOFX and having shared the stage with such acts as H2O, SHAI HULUD and A WILHELM SCREAM.
