DESCRIPTION:
Belfast Punk and New Wave Club is a quarterly club night, launching on Saturday 1st February 2014 in the Pavillion Bar, Ormeau Road, Belfast and playing classic tunes from the rich history of punk and new wave - that means original punk such as The Clash, The Damned, The Stranglers, UK Subs, Outcasts, SLF, The Buzzcocks, etc as well as great new wave from Blondie, The Motors, Doctor Feelgood, TRB, The Undertones and many more. Although the emphasis will be on oldies we will be open to suggestions for anything ! If you want to get back into the punk scene and want to catch up with old friends - this is the place to start. Don't sit in the house watching Match of the Day when you could be out dancing to great music with some fantastic people. Come and have a drink and a bit of craic !
