For just one question, a thousand answers. I've gotta know which one is mine."

The warrior-wanderer from San Antonio began her full-time music career in 2008 when she packed up her car, sold everything that wouldn't fit, and hit the road with a guitar and a dream. The countless miles since then have proved a source of endless inspiration for her inquisitive and introspective nature. Her music is a reflection of the unconventional path she prefers.

She's played for crowds at festivals, patrons at bars and coffee shops, and -- her favorite -- intimate gatherings at house concerts. Her DIY tours have taken her to international stages and all over the United States.

After marinating for five years, her songs today are a refreshing blend of indie-soul-folk flavors, which Bekah invites you to taste for yourself. Her free-spirited following already savors the sound, an effervescent elixir of both sweet and spicy. At one of her live shows, fans will hear the lilting, longing melodies of songs like "Lucky Bird" and "What I Know" right next to the foot-stomping, world rhythms of "Spiders" and "Sequoia", followed by a straight jazz-funk piece like "Grey's Not Easy" and a classic hip-hop cover of The Fugees "Ready or Not". As music reviewer Darius Ripps says, "she's got the talent to go in many different directions." And go she does, with a sly smile and a vengence.

Though she hasn't given up her wayfaring ways, Bekah settled back in San Antonio and plans to make Texas her oyster, performing closer to home while she spends time with her newest and favorite playmate -- her son. She rejoices daily in this tiny muse.

When she's not performing, she's writing and recording. Bekah released her debut album, "Mud Blossom," in 2009 and "Departures" in 2011. Lately, the songstress has been collaborating with co-producer Damian Rodriguez on her newest album, "Within the Shifting Shade," an eclectic collection that weaves its way through fields of soul, folk, indie-pop and acoustic rock. The new record, out 8/13/13, delivers a bigger-than-ever studio sound without losing the vocal intimacy that has become one of her hallmarks.

Bekah's artistic curiosity extends into a variety of other media as well, where she enjoys working on multiple creative ventures, including film production and acting.
