This music video, by Beaches of the Proud, from the album Shear, is intended purely to emphasise the peaceful and gradual variations in the music. the original track was inspired by the constant rythms of the sea, be they oceanic swells or tiny wavelets lapping against the shore. the aim was to synchronise each section of music with similar visuals, both in texture and wave tempo. Therefore, The video shifts from tiny waves making regular patterns in the ice, to regular mid sized beach waves rolling up to the shore, to gentle tides rocking back and forth, depending on the music.
