DESCRIPTION:
This is the last preview, and I figured hey why not go overboard and make a damn near mini music video out of it. You've seen Mr. Blakes (who rocked SXSW as Minister Blakes) with us plenty of times before, so it was only fitting that we ended our final SXSW day with his showcase at the Red 7. Truthfully hip-hop wise I think this was one of the best outings of live music I saw the whole week. With rousing performances from Tony Williams, Dred Skott, & Kydd it was pure entertainment. Then, right before Bavu hits the stage, Mojoe damn near almost burns it down. They had that crowd at a fever pitch that rivals massive arenas. Then Mr. Blakes ratcheted it up letting us all know he was doing fine...great.
