DESCRIPTION:
Anfang 2015 entstand aus der Vorgängerband Chimalba die Idee für das Bandprojekt I Am Noah. Zusammen mit Aljoscha Sieg (Pitchback Studios) und David Beule (VITJA) wurden bereits im März letzten Jahres die ersten Aufnahmen zum Debut Album „The Verdict“ gemacht, das atmosphärischen Metalcore mit technisch versierten Riffings und harten Breakdowns verbindet. Die Texte thematisieren stets die kritische Betrachtungsweise einer fiktiven Person namens Noah, die unserer Gesellschaft den Spiegel vors Gesicht hält. Im Frühjahr 2016 wird „The Verdict“ über Bastardized Recordings released.
Ich bin Noah und ich bin es leid. Ich bin es leid, dass Menschen sich noch immer nur anhand ihres Einkommens, ihrer Uniform, oder ihrer Hautfarbe, ihrer Religion, ihres Geschlechts oder ihrer Staatsangehörigkeit profilieren und somit auf alles und jeden Einfluss nehmen können. Ich bin es leid beobachtet zu werden. Ich bin es leid in einer Gesellschaft zu leben, die mir vorschreibt wer ich zu sein habe. Ich bin es leid, von Ungerechtigkeit umgeben zu sein. Ich bin es leid mir anzusehen, dass Menschen bei dem Versuch ein besseres Leben zu führen, ertrinken. Sie abgeschoben werden. Sie als illegal bezeichnet werden. Aufgrund ihrer Religion verfolgt werden. Unschuldig getötet werden. Es reicht! Ich will hier weg. Wer kommt mit? Ich bin Noah. Wer seid ihr?

Early 2015 I Am Noah was founded by the former band Chimalba. In March 2015 the debut „The Verdict“ was recorded and produced in cooperation with Aljoscha Sieg (Pitchback Studios) and David Beule (VITJA), containing ambient metalcore with well-versed riffings and hard breakdowns. The lyrics deal constantly with the critical perspective of Noah, a fictional person who wants to hold up a mirror to our cruel society. In spring 2016 „The Verdict“ will be released via Bastardized Recordings.

I Am Noah and I’m tired. I’m tired of people who distinguish themselves with their income, uniform, skincolour, religion, gender or nationality to affect everything and everyone. I’m tired of being closely watched. I’m tired of living in a society, which dictates who to be or not. I’m tired of facing people’s failure in their attempt of making life better, whilst being deported and called illegal or haunted just because of their religion. I’m tired.. I’m done. I just wanna abscond from this routine. Who’s in?I Am Noah. Who are you?
