The first of a handful of great recordings that Johnny Caswell made with Philadelphia’s renowned Johnny Madara and Dave White; two gentlemen who started in the business in the late 50s and co-wrote “At The Hop” for Danny & The Juniors (1958, #1), while Dave White was a member of that group. Other big hits emanating from this team included Lesley Gore’s “You Don’t Own Me” and Len Barry’s “1-2-3”.

Johnny Caswell’s 1966 recording of “You Don’t Love Me Anymore” (written by Leon Huff) is a firm northern soul favorite.
