A hybrid of the better qualities that you might find in a Tone Bender and Fuzz Face, the Arctic White Fuzz is a medium gainer with good clean-up qualities (with your guitar's volume knob) and tons of character. Much of that character is provided courtesy of its unnamed middle knob which I shall call, in big capital letters - TONE. Winding that knob to the right results in a little 'more' girth and presence. It's cool, like the rest of the Arctic White Fuzz.

You'll also find some subtle octave effects there and it's got plenty of volume on tap without being noisy, even with single coil pickups.

The Arctic White Fuzz gets a place in my top ten. It's worth checking out, for sure. Hopefully I've done it justice here.
