DESCRIPTION:
This one is really an octave mandolin with an extra top A string. The Sitka Spruce top with carbon bracing gives it a huge dymanic range. The body is pitched to 154hz. (below D#) Scale is 19". It is a few days old and needs some more playing in. The Clifford Essex strings sound good but are poorly gauged. The bottom pair is too loose and the middle pair too tight.
