The album leading thread concerns the relationship between mankind and the world wide web, the social networks and the compulsory use of all the connected devices such as smartphones we never raise your head from.
We felt the urge to finish something left halfway, somehow undone…we needed to close the circle now that the web has spread everywhere and we see how deeply it influences our daily life.
The concept deals with the compulsory use of the smartphone and social networks, the overwhelming barrage of text messages we read and write everyday, the stress reacted to all this and, on the other side, the stress that generates when “the link” is missing.
We tried to describe how the virtual ego fragments in his social network projection and the consequent need for appreciation…the need for an aseptic thumb up. The “like” is our new drug.
