OS BAILEBúRDIA NASCEM EM 2005 COMO RESULTADO DIRECTO DE UMA AULA DE DANÇAS TRADICIONAIS ABERTA, ORIENTADA POR RUTE MAR, AO QUAL SE JUNTARAM VÁRIOS MÚSICOS DA ÁREA, DINAMIZANDO ESTA COM MÚSICA AO VIVO, RESULTANDO PARA ESPANTO DE TODOS, NUMA NOITE DE ENSINO DE DANÇAS REPLETA DE FESTA E ALEGRIA.
NÃO SE PODIA DEIXAR QUE ESTA FOSSE A ÚNICA VEZ, E ASSIM, UMA VEZ POR MÊS, OS MÚSICOS APARECIAM, JUNTAVAM-SE, RUTE MAR ORIENTAVA AS DANÇAS E A "JAM" ACONTECIA.
A ADESÃO AUMENTOU E COM ELA A NECESSIDADE DE CRIAR O "GRUPO", TER ENSAIOS, TER PLANOS E OBJECTIVOS, DAR MAIS.
EM 2005, A CONVITE DE RUTE MAR E COM O APOIO DE OSGA, OS ELEMENTOS QUE COMPÕEM O GRUPO INICIAM O PROJECTO, OS ENSAIOS E A "BAILEBÚRDIA" CRESCE.
DE MÊS A MÊS, DURANTE CERCA DE 5 ANOS, O GRUPO CONQUISTA SORRISOS E RODOPIOS, QUER NO ESPAÇO QUE OS "ACOLHIA", QUER DE NORTE A SUL DO PAÍS
E COM O OBJECTIVO DE DIVULGAR AS DANÇAS DE TRADIÇÃO, ESTES UNEM-SE COM O OBJECTIVO DE "PÔR O MUNDO A DANÇAR"!
.E ASSIM FOI QUE TUDO COMEÇOU. MESMO SE ACABAR!

Balbúrdia: do Celt. balbord, tumulto; s.f; desordem, confusão, algazarra, vozearia confusa.
Bailebúrdia: de baile + balbúrdia; s.f; alegria no palco, baile agitado, folk contemporâneo, concerto em que os músicos podem aparecer de pijama, tudo ao mesmo tempo!
