In recent times Bah Samba have been performing with Jazz Legend Roy Ayers at Southport Weekender festivals among many others Worldwide. It was the gloomy morning of New Years Eve in 2009 (the World was in recession and everybody's chips were down), when Julian Bendall called Roy Ayers at his London hotel and invited him over to the studio. Roy jumped in a taxi, Julian kicked the band out of bed, dragged Phil Asher in on beat duty, pilfered a set of vibes from the BBC 'Strictly Come Dancing Show' set and the gang locked down for a jam session. A short 3 hours later... 'Positive Vibe' - a song of peace and love to all mankind, encouraging unity and strength to the human race was recorded. The result is a fantastic uplifting groove dominated by Roy's lyrical genius and vibe wizardry underpinned by a hot bed of warm keys, stellar brass, funky guitar licks and upbeat backing vocals from the heavyweight Bah Samba crew.

Also featured on the package is a cosmic Afro-Latin inspired workout from the legendary Ashley Beedle (Xpress 2/Black Science Orch/Mavis), an intrepid bouncey house monster from Andy Ward (Soul Central/The Vocal Booth), a classy soulful house gem from Sean McCabe (Soul Heaven/King Street) and an Eighties disco outing from The Super-Phonics.
